This time of year, the weather is warm and the City chines on our San Francisco Food Tours.
It is a great feeling, with the sun on one??s face and seeing the beautiful views. Later on, the fog will roll in, giving us the perfect backdrop for the Best San Francisco Food Tours. The thing that has always made San Francisco as beautiful as it is has been the environment, the mountains, the sky, the ocean, and more.
Maybe that is the reason that we are so protective of the environment here. We see it everyday and while we admire it and enjoy it, we also realize how fragile it is. When we see people in other parts of the country and the world pass off things like the environment, it seems almost like something that we are not able to comprehend. We do not understand how anyone can dismiss the very thing that we have to live in. If the air is polluted, then what does someone think they will breath? If the water is polluted, what does someone think they will drink? For better or worse, there is no spaceship to take someone to another planet to live. If this planet is destroyed, there really is nowhere else to live.
The challenge for all of us is to get others to understand that this is the only planet that we have. If we destroy this planet, there really is no replacement. With things like global warming and climate change, we are starting to see the effects already. Our children and grandchildren will see the effects even more. The big question is whether they will have a planet to live on when they do.
