The start of summer always bring always brings new foods into the farmers market

The start of summer always bring always brings new foods into the farmers market. When we see things like squash blossoms, corn and rice at the farmers, it just calls us to make risotto. And when we saw fresh goat cheese, it was a done deal. Add some fresh mission figs to that and you??ve got a dinner that almost makes itself. In a way, that way of cooking reflects who we are here, we see which foods are fresh, then we figure out what to make. On our San Francisco Food Tour of Chinatown or North Beach\Little Italy, we see each of those neighborhoods have the same philosophy. They start with which ingredients are fresh, then they figure out what to make. Add to that, the diversity of the food here, from all kinds of fresh food, to a wide variety of people from over the world, and it becomes a cook??s dream here. Whatever one wants to make, we usually find that the ingredients are locally grown and incredibly fresh. The result is that we end up combining foods from different cultures without really thinking about it. Northern California food tends to be a combination of foods, from all different cultures, however the one thing that it all has to be fresh. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we see that every day, people and neighborhoods who enjoy cooking local fresh foods and then enjoying with their friends, family and neighbors. It makes for a great place to love. A place where we enjoy life and realize that it is our diversity that makes it so enjoyable.
