The rain is gone, and the weather is cleared on our San Francisco Food Tour

The rain is gone, and the weather is cleared on our San Francisco Food Tour of Chinatown and our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy. What??s left is the time of year where each of us starts to enjoy spring and the new foods and experiences that await us. With all of the fresh berries that are coming into season, it??s the perfect time for homemade ice cream. The stuff in the stores is good, but it can??t compare that we can make at home. At the same time, with hazelnuts, almonds, and walnut coming into season, fresh pasta with hazelnut, almonds, and walnuts almost demands to be made. There is something about fresh pasta. The dry pasta is okay, but it doesn??t compare to fresh pasta. The good news for our San Francisco Food Tours is that someone is making fresh pasta again in North Beach\Little Italy. So, given what fans we are of fresh pasta, we definitely needed to add it to the tour. I love to take fresh pasta and toss it we some fresh vegetables, such as asparagus, red peppers, orange bell peppers, mushroom, along with fresh basil, oregano and lemon. It??s simple, but it??s just right for spring. And what it even better is some roasted garlic. Toss it with olive oil and it??s all ready to be eaten. And if you finish it off with homemade ice cream, it??s the perfect dinner for spring. And, of course, with a nice glass of white wine. It??s the perfect dinner and just the way to welcome in springtime.
