The chocolate festival may be this weekend

The chocolate festival may be this weekend, however on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy, it is a chocolate festival every day. This weekend, the chocolatier on our tour just came up with a new flavor, lemon and lime. It is really the perfect combination. Refreshing, yet really good. On our San Francisco Food Tours, this is the time of year when we start to have some surprises for the fall. On our Chinatown tour, we have been able to add some excellent Peking Duck, the flavor is so good, and they make it right there. Peking Duck is one those foods that has to be made just right, enough flavor to be smooth, but never greasy. It is great by itself or with a fresh duck sauce and rice bun. The great part is that they make their own buns and sauce, as well as the duck. The stuff out of packets has very little flavor or is way too salty. This time of year, everyone heads off to the markets to see what is coming in, so every time that we are on a tour, whether it is North Beach\Little Italy or Chinatown, we??re always finding a delicious surprise. Whether it is someone just adding some fresh fruit to a dish, making a sauce from a fall vegetable, or just serving it fresh, we??re always finding something delicious on our tours. And, of course, we end up picking up some of the fresh produce and taking it home to cook ourselves. All is all, it is really a delicious time of the year to be in San Francisco.
