On our San Francisco Food Tours, we are keenly aware of how everything that we do is connected.

With summer starting to wrap up, we start to think on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy or Chinatown about the changes that we want to make. We start looking at what areas that we can do better and what new things that we need to change. Change is something that is inevitable, but also necessary. For example, with the effects of climate change occurring, we have a basic choice, make changes to mitigate future changes and make changes to respond to the current effects of climate change or act if nothing is happening and have the effects of extreme weather affect us anyway. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we are keenly aware of how everything that we do is connected. For years, we kept acting as if the earth was some kind of magic disposal. We could take whatever trash that we had, whether it was carbon emissions, pollution, or everyday trash and toss it in the ocean, land, or air and it would somehow magically go away. We are now seeing that was just a fantasy. We now have a huge island of trash floating in the ocean, our air is getting dirtier, we have extremes in weather, and proof that all of the trash that we were throwing into and onto the earth did go somewhere. The question is n what we do for the future. Do we stop trashing the earth and try to clean up the mess that we made, or do we try to deny reality. Denying reality will not change reality, we just see the effects later on in an even worse form.
