On our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown, we??re enjoying this time of the year in San Francisco.

The weather is just perfect this of year. In San Francisco, fall is when the weather is little warmer than the rest of the year, usually in the 70s. On our San Francisco Food Tours, It??s the perfect time to explore the City. In addition to great weather, this time of year is when we start to see street fairs all around the neighborhoods. What makes the festivals so much fun is the great combination of food, street artisans, crafts and music. The good news is those not only do we see artisans from the neighborhoods, the street festivals bring in artisans from all over Northern California. The result is that get try everything from a selection of honey to local teas and food. It??s interesting how honey can taste so different depending how the type of flower that it??s pollinated from. Just like some like fruit can taste different depending whether it??s from around Sacramento or the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It??s also interesting how local painters see the same thing, such as the Golden Gate Bridge or Coit Tower is a different way. The great thing about a street fairs is the booths where we can compare the food or local crafts produced all of the neighborhoods, as well as the region.
