Observations about our friends in Chinatown and North Beach\Little Italy on San Francisco Food Tours

While I??m sitting here drinking my green tea from one our stops on our San Francisco Food Tour of Chinatown, I??m reminded of makes us a little different. Being from San Francisco, when we go into a stop on one of our tours, they are not only stops on a tour, they are also friends that we have known for years. So, when our tour guests learn about the benefits of tea, it is something that we are already doing ourselves. It also means that when we go to come place on our San Francisco Food Tours, we are not just going to a stop, we are also seeing friends of ours. As such, we treat them like friends, in other words, we want to make that they benefit from our stopping in the place on our tours. Frequently, if we are not careful, we think we are seeing only people who are just looking out for themselves. However, if we look at the people who are around us on our daily lives, we realize that is simply not the case. Most people do really care about others. There are those who do not, and unfortunately, they are frequently the loudest and most frequently on regular and social media. The question for the rest of us is what do we do about it. If we start to point out on all levels, that self-centered, mean, or inappropriate behavior is not acceptable to the rest of us and is also out of the norm, perhaps we will start to see the good behavior that most of us express to our friends and neighbors become the only acceptable behavior that any of us will accept.
