New Year??s Eve is almost here and we??re getting ready on our San Francisco Food Tour

New Year??s Eve is almost here and we??re getting ready on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown. We always like to do a combination of the old and the new, the fun and still a little sophisticated. For many of us, that means a trip to the Nutcracker and then spending New Year??s Eve with the symphony. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we like to celebrate New Year with a wine in North Beach\Little Italy and a special tea in Chinatown. In North Beach, being the Italian part of the city, we always like to add some Panettone. While it??s easy to find in the boxes from Italy, nothing compares to the fresh panettone made in the bakeries in North Beach. I can eat it just as it is, however in the morning, there is nothing better for French Toast. There is something making your own breakfast foods, it takes a little more time, however, the flavor is definitely worth it. For example, you can buy frozen waffles, however they don??t compare to the ones that you make on your own. Same thing with French toast, the flavor of when you make your own beats anything that I can get from a store. We??ll be looking at how we bring more of those treats onto our tours for New Year, some old, some new foods, and some fun and a little sophisticated. As long as they are delicious.
