Labor Day weekend is coming up and for many people, it is just a three-day weekend. An extra day to relax. Whether we are on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy or Chinatown, we enjoy relaxing and enjoying ourselves, as well. At the same time, we also like to reflect on what the Labor Day weekend is all about. For many of us, a job is not only a way to make an income, it also a way that we like to think that we are contributing to the world around us. Whether it on a local, state, or national level, or just in our own community or neighborhood, we all like to think that we are doing makes a difference in the world. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we hope that we are doing does that as well. We hope that what we are doing is making a positive difference in other people??s lives. Sometimes that can be easy to see, sometimes it not so easy. We all like to think that we will do something that will visibly make the world better. More often it is small things, treating someone else with kindness, finding something good to say about someone else, or just conducting in a manner that makes the world with something as simple as good manners. Something as simple as good manners or a kind word can make huge difference in the world around us and the people around us. It may not seem like a huge thing, but it really can be. It makes our community a better place to live, a more enjoyable place to live. So, with a small gesture, we can all make the world better.
