It??s the start of a holiday weekend in San Francisco.

With two major holidays coming up, Passover and Easter, we like to look at this time of year through what we see on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown. For many of us in San Francisco, we??ll be celebrating the holidays, either as part of an organized celebration, with family or friends, by ourselves, or looking at our friends and family celebrating. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we see how the diversity of our city creates a mixture of food and cultures that makes this such a great place to live. We enjoy the diversity of our food and cultures and how it enhances all of us. When we see friends or family celebrating something, we think it??s great, whether or not it involves us. When I was cooking last night, I started making a chicken dish. Being one of those cooks who doesn??t like following a recipe, I frequently make dinners that turn our really well, however at after making the dish, I have little idea of what I put in them and I can rarely recreate it. I started making a sauce with pesto, then a little soy sauce and on a whim added a little curry. It turned out really good. When I thought about, the sauce reflected us. A mixture of food, cultures, religions, and more. And the result is really delicious.
