In San Francisco, we are in our version of winter

In San Francisco, we are in our version of winter, in our case, anything in the fifties, temperature wise. Compared to most places, that probably does not qualify as winter. It does not very cold here, so we don??t really have a lot of tolerance for cold weather. We??re just not used to it. On our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown, we use this as a good excuse for soups. It doesn??t take much for us to do this. Chances are, given some of the soups we??re seeing right now, we would come up with an excuse one way or another. So, when I saw some making soup in North Beach\Little Italy, it was a sure thing that I was going to stop by and get some. And given that one of the soups was tomato soup, it a definitely sure thing. Added to that, they were making butternut squash soup, so I was definitely hooked. Tomato soup and butternut squash soup are my two favorite soups. On our San Francisco Food Tours, I have a great time stopping by and seeing what some in the neighborhood just made. And, of course, we have to add that to the tours. Whether it??s soup, gelato, or a special sauce, it??s a yummy way to explore the neighborhoods.
