Chinese New Year in San Francisco is really something to experience
February is going to a really great time of on our San Francisco Food Tour of North Beach\Little Italy and Chinatown. In Chinatown, it??s going to be Chinese New Year. And, in North Beach\Little Italy, it??s going to be Valentine??s Day.
Chinese New Year in San Francisco is really something to experience. Even though it??s technically one day, it??s actually an entire month of activities. We??ll have the Chinese New Year Street Fair. It??s one of those great fairs with a combination of booth, dancing, music and surprises that takes up all of Chinatown. They always have a large number of stages around Chinatown, each with a different group of performers.
The Flower Market Fair is a great time if you??re into flowers. In the middle of Chinatown, they always large variety of flowers and plants for sale and display. It??s always a really beautiful event.
The Chinese New Year??s Parade will take up all of downtown San Francisco. For hours, there will be all kinds of floats, marching bands, groups throughout the downtown. The entire city participates, it??s one those things that I never get tired of seeing.
In North Beach\Little Italy, they will be celebrating Valentine??s Day in a way that is sure to bring out the lover in all of us. On our San Francisco Food Tours, we??ll be having a great time taking it all in.
